The artist and the products

Peter Frantz was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and subsequently entered a large, eclectic, extended family, many of whom are artists and musicians, all of them passionate gardeners.   (peterfrantz.com)

The Flower Towers Trellises, Pinnacles and Feeders/Plant Hangers started out as tomato climbing spires and a cucumber yurt built for his mother's and sister's vegetable gardens. More maintenance free and durable than wooden stakes, the bright colors and the touch of glass at the tops visually compliments the many flower gardens nearby.

Over the years the products on display here became more refined and are both sculpture and plant climbing chassis for flowers.  In the warm growing months tall flowers such such as delphiniums, grasses, foxglove, hollyhocks, bugbanes and other long limbed sun reaching flowers can be grown right through the tower, adding strength to stalks and changing the display of sculpture and flower as the season progress.

Climbers such as clematis, morning glories, sweet pea, climbing roses are among the vast array of climbing color that will navigate upwards using the Towers and Pinnacles as support.  The combinations are as endless as your imagination.
